STRATFORD, Ont. — James Walt of Araxi Restaurant in Whistler, B.C. is one of this year’s celebrity chefs in residence at Stratford Chefs School.
In partnership with RBC Foundation, chef Walt will be in residence at the Stratford Chefs School from January 24 to 28.
During his time at the school, Walt — who graduated from Stratford Chefs School in 1991 —will be instructing, overseeing and cooking in level-two student dinner labs, bringing Araxi and Whistler influences to Stratford.
Established as a private, non-profit institution, the Stratford Chefs School is now one of Canada’s foremost training facilities, with graduates working in some of the finest restaurants in North America.
