OTTAWA — Jeff Stewart, executive director at Food Day Canada, has been awarded the prestigious King Charles III Coronation Medal. This recognition celebrates Stewart’s outstanding contributions to Canadian food culture, sustainability and dedication to supporting local agriculture and culinary traditions.
Stewart’s leadership in Food Day Canada has played a pivotal role in championing Canadian food sovereignty, fostering connections between farmers, chefs and consumers and raising awareness of the importance of supporting local food systems.
