La Cage Expands Gift Card Sales to Retail Outlets


MONTREAL — Quebec-based restaurant franchise La Cage is set to expand its gift-card distribution beyond its 50 locations through a partnership with DataCandy.

Using the DataCandy platform, the chain expects to increase sales of prepaid gift cards sold at various retail outlets. The platform will further allow La Cage to track gift card data, including the number of gift cards sold, redeemed and reloaded.

“With DataCandy, we now have access to a greater detail level of gift-card data,” says François-Xavier Pilon, Finance and Technology director at La Cage. “The features of the gift-card solution are very intuitive and easy to use and I have direct access to the data insights I need.”

La Cage has also announced plans to further develop the brand’s web and mobile applications through this new partnership.
