NEW YORK — Ecolab has been ranked the 26th greenest company in the U.S., and the first by business type, in Newsweek magazine’s 2010 Green Rankings.

The list was compiled with the help of MSCI ESG Research, Trucost and CorporateRegister.com — three environmental research services.
