LONDON, Ont. — Odd Burger Corporation has launched its plant-based pizza at all restaurant locations in Canada.
The initial launch features four personal-sized eight-inch pizzas, including cheese, pepperoni, Hawaiian and plant-meat lovers. The pizzas feature a hand-tossed pizza crust and are made to order in only one minute and 30 seconds, utilizing Odd Burger’s cooking technology.
“We see tremendous potential with our pizza launch, and I believe we’re fulfilling an important need for affordable and delicious plant-based alternatives,” says James McInnes, CEO and co-founder of Odd Burger. “The pizza market is a $160+ billion per year industry and gaining market share in this sector provides a unique opportunity for Odd Burger.”
The pizza launch is a limited-time offer, which would allow the company to assess the sales data and customer feedback to optimize the product. The company also plans on testing additional alternative crust options including gluten-friendly and low-carb pizza crusts if the initial launch is successful.
