ORLANDO, Fla. —Red Lobster has launched its special, limited-time menu items for the return of its Crabfest promotion, which runs from July 1 to 14.
“This year’s Crabfest lineup features six new craveable combinations that allow our guests to explore crab in a variety of ways, from crab legs to crab-topped salmon and shrimp, there’s something for everyone,” says Dustin Hilinski, executive chef and director of Culinary at Red Lobster. “What makes this year even more special is we get to welcome back guests’ favourite Bairdi crab to the menu and offer a special dish inspired by Deadliest Catch captains — it’s truly a celebration of everything crab.”
The six new Crabfest menu items include the Captains’ Trio, a fire-grilled sirloin topped with a creamy crab-imperial seafood blend, paired with crab-and-mushroom au gratin and crab-and-seafood linguini Alfredo; the Ultimate Crabfest Trio, featuring premium King, Bairdi and Dungeness crab legs; the Crabfest Surf & Turf; Crab Imperial and Crab-Topped Salmon; Crabfest Mixed Grill; and Creamy-Garlic Crab Dip.
The menu will also feature two limited-time cocktails: the Crabfest Strawberry Lemonade, made with Smirnoff Vodka, and a Long Island Iced Tea.
Red Lobster ensures that all crab used during the promotion is traceable, sustainable and responsibly sourced as per the company’s “Seafood with Standards” commitment.
