TORONTO — Starbucks has announced that its Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL) will return to Canadian locations on August 27.

Celebrating its 16th year, Pumpkin Spice Latte has become a cultural phenomenon, synonymous with fall and is Starbucks top-selling seasonal beverage of all time, having sold an estimated more than 424-million since 2003.

When it first launched in 2003, the PSL was only available in 100 Starbucks stores in Vancouver, B.C. and Washington, D.C. Today, PSL is available in nearly 50 countries throughout the Americas and EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) regions.

Alongside this launch, the chain will also debut its new Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew. This coffee-forward offering is Starbucks’ first pumpkin-flavoured cold coffee beverage since the original launch of the PSL.

Only in development since early 2019, the team had more than 10 variations of the beverage, before choosing the perfect recipe. The flavours of pumpkin and vanilla perfectly balance the cocoa notes in Starbucks’ Cold Brew. The result is a smooth and well-rounded beverage that brings out the flavours of the season without being overly sweet.

Additional fall menu items available starting August 27 include new Pumpkin Spice Madeleines, the Salted Caramel Mocha, Cardamom Latte and the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin.
