TORONTO — Taco Fest, Toronto’s largest food fiesta, is set to take over Fork York from August 9 to 11.
For the eighth-annual fiesta, Taste Toronto has curated a vendor lineup of more than 45 of the city’s top restaurants with more than 250 varieties of tacos, both traditional Mexican cuisine and new takes on classics to choose from. Some vendors have prepared off-menu dishes that’ll be exclusively offered at the festival, such as Booyah’s ice-cream taco, Dope as Duck’s Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Mexican-style street corn, Dos Tacos’ Taco Like a Mac and Heirloom’s hot and honey fried chicken taco.
On the final day of the event, the public will have a chance to vote for the city’s best taco. The winning restaurant will receive the coveted golden taco trophy. The event will also feature Canada’s largest hot sauce bar, an exclusive Tequila and Mezcal School, Mariachi band and more.
