KITCHENER, Ont. — Tahini’s Restaurants has opened its newest location in Kitchener, Ont.
“This is an exciting milestone for Tahini’s as we continue our growth across Canada,” says Omar Hamam, founder and CEO of Tahini’s. “Kitchener is a vibrant city with a strong appreciation for diverse cuisine, and we can’t wait to introduce our unique Mediterranean fusion to the community.”
The new location is owned and operated by Sahaib and Rehana Tungekar. With more than 24 years of experience in the service industry managing multiple locations of their previous venture, the couple is eager to bring their expertise and passion for hospitality to Tahini’s.
“We are excited about our new venture and strive to put our best-efforts forward every day to achieve success,” says Sahaib Tungekar. “Serving the community in one way or another has always been our goal. Rehana has a core passion for cooking and feeding others, and this was at the heart of our decision to take on this new venture.”
With more than 50 locations across Canada and plans to double its footprint to 100 locations by the end of 2025, Tahini’s is rapidly expanding, with its eyes set on growth in the U.S. and beyond.
