TORONTO — The Ballroom Bowl Yonge and Dundas, featuring duckpin bowling and a food-and-beverage menu, has officially opened in the Tenor complex in Toronto, marking the company’s third location.

The expansion of the Ballroom Bowl brand — sparked by the success of its John Street and Yorkville locations — reflects Toronto’s growing appetite for nostalgic entertainment spots. The new location at Yonge and Dundas features 15 duckpin bowling lanes that cater to all, with lighter balls, smaller pins and shorter lanes. Besides bowling, the venue features a bar, pool table and shuffleboard.

“We’re thrilled to open of the first duckpin bowling alleys in downtown Toronto,” says Paul Donato, president of The Ballroom Bowl. “After years in the industry, we’re always looking for fresh ways to keep things exciting, and duckpin bowling is just that. It’s a fun twist on the classic bowling experience, and we’re confident it offers something completely different. This new location has entirely distinct atmosphere, with a vibrant, urban energy that’s true to the area’s spirit, seeing it apart from our other two venues. We can’t wait for everyone to experience it.”

The menu focuses on elevated comfort dishes, such as Miso Honey Garlic Wings and Steak Frites The menu is complimented by a curated beverage program, featuring 16 draft beers and a selection of signature cocktails, such as the aptly named Spare the Details — a blend of Tito’s Vodka, lemon, lavender, and prosecco.

“The Ballroom Bowl isn’t your typical bowling alley,” adds Donato. “We’ve set out to create a space where the food is just as memorable as the fun — a place that transforms an ordinary night out into something you’ll continue to talk about for days. We’ve worked hard to build an atmosphere where eating, drinking and playing effortlessly come together, providing a truly one-of-a-kind experience.”
