TORONTO — The Keg Steakhouse & Bar is contributing $1 million to 40 Canadian communities with each community receiving $25,000.
In honour of the chain’s 40th anniversary, Keg’s Thanks-A-Million campaign received more than 1,300 submissions for funding. The company enlisted the public to decide what projects should receive grants and received more than 200,000 votes.
“On behalf of the entire Keg family, I’sd like to extend heartfelt congratulations to all the winning submissions and to everyone who participated in Thanks A Million,” said David Aisenstat, president and CEO. “This initiative was our way of saying ‘sthank you’s to the communities who have contributed so greatly to our success over the years.
