Tim Hortons Introduces Keurig Compatible Coffee

OAKVILLE, Ont. — Tim Hortons has launched Keurig compatible single-serve coffee cups.

“Whether in our restaurants, at home or on the go, we want to make it easy for our guests to enjoy a great-tasting cup of Tim Hortons coffee,” said Dave McKay, VP, Marketing, Beverages, Tim Hortons.

“The launch of our new Tim Hortons Keurig compatible single-serve coffee cups, is yet another way we bring our premium-blend coffee to our guests and reinforce our coffee leadership in Canada.”

The new product will be available in regular and decaf in packs of 14 at participating Tim Hortons’ restaurants across Canada and via timhortons.ca for $8.99 to $9.49.

The company is continuing to add to its selection of at-home brewing options having partnered with Tassimo last year. According to Nielsen Markettrack Data from June 2013, the Canadian single-serve market represents approximately 33 per cent of total roast and ground retail sales dollars and continues to experience strong double-digit growth.
