OAKVILLE, Ont. — Tim Hortons introduced a darker, richer dark roast coffee today at its restaurants across Canada.

Inspired by guest feedback, the new blend features premium 100-per-cent Arabica beans, sourced from world-renowned coffee regions.

“This darker blend features subtle hints of cocoa and earthy tones,” says Kevin West, head of Coffee Operations for Tim Hortons. “The beans are roasted longer to deliver a darker, richer taste with a smooth finish.”

Guests can share their feedback about the dark roast through Twitter, Facebook and Instagram using #TimsDark. Tim Hortons will choose tweets to be featured in its TV commercial that will be updated throughout the campaign. Also, for a limited time, select tweets will have the chance to appear on a digital-billboard advertisement at Yonge and Dundas Square, in Toronto.
