TORONTO — Tim Hortons has launched its new loyalty program, Tims Rewards.
The program will offer members a free hot brewed coffee or hot tea (any size) or baked good (except for Timbits and bagels) after every seventh visit. In the coming months, Tim Hortons will also unveil new personalized mobile offers and discounts.
To join, customers can pick up a reusable loyalty card at any eligible Tim Hortons location, add Tims Rewards to their mobile device’s digital wallet or download the updated Tim Hortons mobile app. The updated app now allows users to track their reward status, scan for rewards and order directly through the app.
“Tim Hortons has some of the most loyal guests in Canada and Tims Rewards allows us to say thank you,” says Alex Macedo, president, Tim Hortons. “We heard from our guests that a new rewards program had to be easy to use and redeem, that’s why we offer both a reusable card and a digital friendly app.”
To celebrate the program’s launch, members will receive a free reward following their first purchase greater than $1.50, for a limited time.
