TORONTO — Tim Hortons has officially kicked off Canada Day celebrations with its new Canada Day Fireworks Doughnut.
“To celebrate Canada Day, we wanted to provide our guests with a fun doughnut that actually pops,” says Mike Hancock, COO at Tim Hortons. “Canadians from coast to coast celebrate Canada Day with fireworks, so we wanted to create a new doughnut that Canadians would be excited to share with friends and family.”
Available on June 26 for $1.59, the limited-edition baked-good is a classic vanilla doughnut dipped in white fondant and topped with red and white sprinkles and popping candy.
