OTTAWA — The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Solo Fruit Inc., are expanding a public warning from last week and cautioning consumers allergic to milk to avoid Solo Fruit brand Dark Chocolate Sorbet.

The affected product may contain milk, which is not declared on the label.

There have been two reported illnesses associated with the consumption of the sorbet, which may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction to people who are allergic to milk.

The product is distributed in Nova Scotia, Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta and British Columbia but   may have been distributed nationally.
