Wendy’s Announces Executive Appointments

DUBLIN, Ohio — The Wendy’s Company has announced a series of executive leadership promotions.

Todd Penegor, SVP and CFO, is the new EVP, CFO and International, helping to drive Wendy’s growth in strategic international markets. Bob Wright, COO, has risen to EVP, COO, who will be responsible for more in-restaurant technology, restaurant facilities and improving the customer-service experience. “Since joining The Wendy’s Company last year, Todd and Bob have made extraordinary contributions to the company and our franchisees,” said Emil Brolick, president and CEO of the Dublin, Ohio-based company. “As we continue the transformation of the Wendy’s brand, the Board of Directors and I have the highest confidence that Todd’s and Bob’s elevated leadership roles will spur even greater growth and performance.”

Abigail Pringle, former SVP of Restaurant Development and Growth Initiatives, has been promoted to chief development officer, leading the company’s development. Brandon Rhoten is moving into the new role of VP, Digital Experience, to accelerate the development of customer-facing technology.

Craig Bahner, CMO, is leaving the company early next year. He will be replaced by Brandon Solano, SVP of Marketing.
