VANCOUVER — Woods Coffee has partnered with White Spot’s parent company, Shato Holdings Ltd., to bring its coffee shops to the Canadian market.
The brand — which currently has 17 units in Washington State — will open its first Canadian location in early 2016 at the Tsawwassen Springs Golf Club in Tsawwassen, B.C.
“We are honoured to be working with Shato Holdings, who have a proven track record in the hospitality sector,” said Wes Herman, Woods Coffee owner. “There’s no doubt they will be able to carry on the much-loved Woods culture in B.C.”
Woods is known for its in-house baked goods and Woods Coffee’s own roasts, served in compostable cups. The Tsawwassen location will feature the brand’s signature Pacific Northwest feel as well as a drive-thru and an indoor fireplace.
