Arby’s Chain to be Sold?

ATLANTA — Wendy’s/Arby’s Group Inc., will are certainly considering the question “who’s thinking Arby’s?” with investment firms and other restaurant groups in the coming days, as reports from multiple sources have the company looking to sell the struggling Arby’s brand.

With an estimated value of between $400-million and $600-million, the parent company has seen the sale rumours improve its overall stock performance on the New York Stock Exchange even without a ready buyer.

According to reports, the higher price tag of Arby’s sandwiches is not jiving with the offerings at competing fast-food restaurants.

The Arby’s brand has close to 3,700 outlets worldwide.
