TORONTO — Baskin-Robbins Canada has partnered with on-demand food-delivery services to allow Canadians to celebrate National Ice Cream Month from the comfort of their homes.

After successfully launching the pilot program in Ontario, Baskin-Robbins’ popular line up of pre-packaged ice-cream tubs, freshly packaged tubs of any flavour, ice-cream cakes and ice-cream treats will be available through Uber Eats to more than 20 communities across Canada.

“Customers want this level of convenience and we’re delighted that a large portion of our franchisees have jumped on the opportunity to do so,” says Natalie Joseph, representative for Baskin-Robbins Canada.

In celebration of National Ice Cream Month, Baskin-Robbins is breaking out new and old treats and flavours. The company is adding its first Greek frozen yogurt flavour (Honey Almond Greek Frozen Yogurt) to its lineup, as well as a Sundae Shake — a milkshake topped with a sundae.

Baskin-Robbins is also reintroducing its classic Caramel-Praline Cheesecake flavour, first introduced in 1970, and its BeaverTails Pastry ice cream — which combines cinnamon-caramel flavoured ice cream with BeaverTails pastry pieces. Baskin-Robbins and BeaverTails are donating 10 cents from every scoop sold to Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada.
