TORONTO — INK Entertainment CEO and founder, Charles Khabouth, has been named The EY (Ernst & Young) Entrepreneur of the Year 2018 Ontario in the entertainment and hospitality category.

Since the early 1980s, Khabouth has become known for his risky out-of-the-box ideas, including Toronto’s Club Z and nightclub Stilife, award-winning restaurants, luxury boutique-hotel brand Bisha and a recent venture into the art world.

The EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2018 Ontario awards program honours those who dare to think differently to pioneer new solutions, combinations and possibilities. This year, 46 finalists across nine categories were recognized for their entrepreneurial spirit, unyielding high standards and commitment to purpose-driven leadership.

“Creating experiences is my passion and seeing guests enjoy themselves at our venues is the ultimate motivator,” says Khabouth. “I extend my congratulations to all of the other finalists. To work in this industry and be recognized by EY is an incredible honour. I can assure you Ink Entertainment has much more to come.”
