TORONTO — AP Restaurant, sitting atop of the 51st floor of the Manulife Centre Toronto, is uniting its celebrity chef and co-owner Antonio Park with chef Fran Agudo and team from Barcelona’s Michelin-starred Mont Bar. The two-night dining collaboration, The Stars Will Align, presented by Estrella Damm, the premium beer of Barcelona, will take place the evenings of March 6 and 7.
The ticketed dinners ($175 per guest) are set to showcase Park’s appreciation for Japanese & Pan-Asian culinary as well as locally sourced ingredients, intertwined with Augdo’s signature, highly imaginative Spanish cuisine.
Guests can expect a menu beginning with four curious snack courses, alternating creations from Park and Agudo. To signature main courses, one cold and one hot, will follow, as well as a finishing sweet prepared by each chef and presented together.
“We’re so excited to partner with AP Restaurants to create this dining experience in Toronto, a city we adore with a culinary scene we’re thrilled to visit again and be a part of,” says Agudo. “We see many dining guests from Toronto and across Canada at our Mont Bar Barcelona and are eager to say hello to them again across the world this time, as well as bring our gastronomic style to new friends yet to visit Spain.”
“I’m so thrilled to welcome chef Fran Agudo and his incredibly talented brigade to AP Restaurants to bring double the culinary experience access to our guests for these two nights,” says Park. “As an admirer of Mont Bar, I feel especially passionate to be collaborating alongside chef Fran specifically, and creating beautiful guest experiences that fuse both of our culinary DNAs.”
