EDMONTON — Famoso Pronto Pizzeria has opened a new location in Edmonton. With a customized environment that’s modern and inviting, this location is branded as Famoso Pronto to provide guests with a wider variety of Italian menu options. Dave Housman helms this location.
Famoso Pronto is an evolved concept that’s streamlined for more efficient operations. In addition to dine-in service, guests can also order food directly from the counter if they’re looking for a quick lunch or takeout.
The first Famoso opened in Edmonton in 2007 and is known for its authentic Neapolitan pizza, made with imported Italian bell ovens, fresh, premium ingredients and traditional culinary techniques in pizza making that have gone unchanged for generations.
Adding on to the existing family recipes of pasta, soup and salads, guests can now have Italian-style street food, such as the porchetta sandwich and meatball sandwich and Calabrese fried potatoes and calamari, as well as traditional house-made Tiramisu, cheesecake and Spumoni ice cream. For better takeout, there’s also the New World pizzas formulated to handle delivery distance better, measuring 16 inches with extra thick crust and extra toppings.
