SAINT-LAMBERT, Que. — Chef Ricardo Larrivée has expanded his magazine to the store level, opening the Espace Ricardo boutique in Saint-Lambert, Que.
“[It] was an important year for Ricardo Media, and it’s finishing up with the realization of another dream,” explains Ricardo. “I have wanted to create a space like this for a long time, a window on the Ricardo brand image that presents not only what we love but also who we are.”
The shop sells accessories from the Ricardo collection as well as kitchen decor and tableware. “When people visit us, they will find the accessories, the kitchenware and decor elements that are showcased in the pages of our magazines — all under the same roof. And, yes, sometimes we will give out in-store samples of our latest culinary creations,” says Ricardo.
Also within the space is the new Mama Choka chocolaterie, managed by Kareen Grondin, Ricardo kitchen director; it offers a selection of chocolate, caramel, cotton candy, popcorn, nuts, marshmallows and chocolate bars.
Espace Ricardo Boutique is located at 310 d’Arran St.
