EDMONTON — Chick-fil-A has opened a new restaurant in Edmonton. Locally owned and operated by Jag Dhanju, it is is the fourth location in Edmonton and will employ approximately 90 to 110 full- and part-time team members.
In honour of the new opening, Chick-fil-A will donate approximately $34,000 to a local non-profit organization through Second Harvest. The restaurant will also participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, an initiative that re-directs surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and non-profits in need. To date, more than 35 million meals have been created from 2,300 restaurants throughout Canada and the U.S.
