DENVER — Chipotle Mexican Grill is preparing to celebrate its 20th anniversary with a treasure hunt called “Adventurrito.”
The contest features a series of 20 online puzzles and daily prizes that lead to the grand prize of free burritos for 20 years.
“Our 20th anniversary wouldn’t be possible without the continuing support of so many loyal customers and fans,” said Mark Crumpacker, chief marketing officer at Chipotle. “‘Adventurrito’ reflects the fun, irreverent side of Chipotle and offers a fun way for fans to celebrate our anniversary.”
The company will release a new puzzle each day for 19 days. On every day, except the 20th day, 20 players will be chosen at random to receive free burritos for a year. Players who correctly solve the first 19 puzzles get a shot at the grand prize on the 20th day. The first 20 people with the highest scores on the 20th puzzle will win free burritos for 20 years.
The contest runs until Aug. 1 in U.S. and Canada (excluding Quebec).
