TORONTO — After a hiatus, Marché International is returning to its familiar haunt in Toronto and bringing with it an updated and innovative take on its famous market-fresh cuisine.
Renovations began this week on the new, flagship 560-seat Marché Restaurant in Brookfield Place, which is in the heart of the city’s financial district. Construction is expected to take five months, which is why Marché will be offering fresh food to go from a temporary venue in Sam Pollock Square at Brookfield Place.
In addition to the new Marché at Brookfield Place, two new Marché Natural Bakeries — one on the concourse level of Brookfield Place across from the Hockey Hall of Fame and the second in the Bay Adelaide Centre — are slated to be built as well.
“We’re excited to be returning to Toronto and look forward to welcoming our many friends and loyal supporters to our new restaurant and Natural Bakeries,” said Oliver Altherr, CEO of International.
According to Altherr, Marché International is committed to investing in more than 10 new locations in Canada.
