GRIMSBY, Ont. – Andrew Peller Limited has announced its intent to sell 100 per cent of its ownership in the Vancouver-based Granville Island Brewing Company Ltd. and Mainland Beverage Distribution Ltd. to Creemore Springs Brewery Ltd., a stand-alone craft brewery owned by Molson Coors Canada.
According to a media release, the deal should be finalized by early 2010. “We are pleased to be positioning Granville Island’s strong brand, quality products and talented people with one of the country’s leading craft brewers” commented John Peller, president and CEO., Andrew Peller Ltd. “We look forward to watching Creemore Springs build upon our commitment to brewing the finest craft beer in the country.”
