TECUMSEH, Ont. — Domino’s Pizza has opened its 500th Canadian location in Victoria.
The brand entered Canada nearly 36 years ago, opening its first store outside the U.S. in Winnipeg. Today the brand boasts locations in every province and two of three territories.
“I am so proud of the many people who worked hard to reach this milestone for Domino’s Pizza in Canada,” says Mike Schlater, CEO, Domino’s Pizza of Canada. “Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined celebrating the opening of our 500th store back in 1983 when I opened the first store in Winnipeg.”
The brand celebrated the milestone opening with a ribbon-cutting event at the new Victoria location, which included free pizza, Coca-Cola, games and prizes.
