Vancouver — Famoso Italian Pizzeria + Bar is partnering with Mealshare for its Campania Tomato Sauce campaign for the sixth year in a row.

All proceeds from sales of the chain’s Campania Tomato Sauce will go to Mealshare, which will, in turn, provide a meal to a youth in need. The jars will sell for $8 and can be found at Famoso locations in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario.

“We’re proud to be partnering with Mealshare for the sixth year in a row,” says Frank di Benedetto, CEO of Famoso. “The organization continues to be an important partner for Famoso and selling our classic Campania Tomato Sauce is a great way to continue our tradition of giving back to the communities that we operate in.”

Since Campania Tomato Sauce sales for Mealshare began in 2014, 28,176 jars of sauce have been purchased to support the 18 local communities in which Famoso operates and the brand expects another 5,800 jars to be sold this year.

“We always look forward to partnering with Famoso for the holiday season with the Campania Tomato Sauce campaign and this year is no exception,” adds Andrew Hall, co-founder of Mealshare.
