TOFINO, B.C. — Tourism Tofino will celebrate the area’s abundance of fresh seafood at the sixth annual Feast Tofino festival.
The festival, which takes place May 6 to 22, brings together acclaimed local and visiting North American chefs, restaurants, fishermen, foragers and farmers in celebration of the bounty of locally available seafood, as well as the sustainable boat-to-table practices employed by local restaurants.
The event is comprised of several Chef’s Tables hosted at Tofino restaurants, a “Boat-to-Tailgate” party and a Tofino Dock Festival.
Restaurants participating in Feast Tofino include SoBo, Wildside Grill, Jamie’s Rainforest Inn and Wolf in the Fog. Chefs Lynn Crawford, Lora Kirk, Amanda Cohen, Nicole Gomes and Justin Leboe are among the celebrity guest chefs who will be participating in this year’s event.
