ETOBICOKE, Ont. – Ho-Lee-Chow, which once operated up to 22 restaurants, including 18 franchises, has closed down.
According to the Toronto Star, the voicemail for the company’s president, Jake Cappiello, says: “I’m king of tied up right now.”
Its Call Centre presents a recorded male voice message about having closed down, stating, “Due to circumstances beyond our control, one of which is the poor economic climate, another of which is a refusal to compromise on quality and service you’sve come to appreciate, Ho-Lee-Chow has closed down operations. We truly apologize for the inconvenience and thank you once again for your patronage. Sorry, the restaurant you are trying to access is not currently active.”
