KITCHENER, Ont. — Ignite Restaurant Group is set to reopen former Conestogo, Ont. landmark, the Black Forest Inn, according to CBC News.
The Kitchener-based company — which operates the Rich Uncle Tavern (formerly The Berlin) and is set to open Graffiti Market and Red Circle Coffee and Red Circle Brewing at Kitchener’s Catalyst 137 — purchased the property in May and plans to reopen it next year as a “European smokehouse with a modern twist.”
The building is also set to house the restaurant group’s head office and a retail outlet featuring cider made on site using local produce.
