TORONTO — Krispy Kreme Canada is opening its first location in Winnipeg in late spring.
The new 4,600 sq. ft. Hot Light Theatre Shop will offer the ultimate Krispy Kreme experience. Not only will guests be able to witness the journey of freshly made doughnuts through the Doughnut Theatre, but they’ll also be able enjoy their doughnuts right after they’re made. This location will be the first iteration of a new Canadian design that present and future stores will adopt.
With the opening of its first Winnipeg location, the company will also bring its fundraising program to the city, which aims to provide a way for qualifying community organizations to raise funds for their worthwhile causes. Schools, sports teams and charitable organizations across Winnipeg will soon be able to raise money by purchasing Krispy Kreme Original Glazed doughnuts at a reduced price to re-sell to achieve their fundraising goals.
