MONTREAL — Quebec restaurant chain, La Belle et La Boeuf, donated proceeds from every burger sold during the month of October to The Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation, raising more than $16,000.
La Belle et La Boeuf launched a particularly unique campaign with its limited-edition pink burger bread, made of natural colouring, to support breast-cancer awareness throughout the month. In addition to the burger proceeds, one dollar of each Perroquet IPA was also donated in collaboration with Molson Coors Beverage Company.
“We’re extremely happy and proud to announce that La Belle et La Boeuf has raised a total of $16,072 that will be donated to The Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation,” says Vlad Ciobanu, vice-president of Marketing at Foodtastic. “This is the first year we partnered with the foundation and we hope to continue this initiative for years to come. This cause is very close to our hearts as the La Belle et La Boeuf concept was created in honour of all the women in the world. It’s very important for us to support our community. Thank you to our customers and partners. Without [them], this donation wouldn’t have been possible.”
