TORONTO — LOCAL Public Eatery (LPE) has opened its third location in Toronto’s Financial District at Adelaide and York Street. LPE Adelaide will officially open to the public on Feb. 1, 2024 at 3 p.m.

Founded in Vancouver in 2009, LPE opened its first Toronto location in 2014.

A new feature specifically curated for the new location is The Top Shelf, an exclusive sub-concept mezzanine level. Available for private bookings, The Top Shelf will offer an Old-Fashioned bar with premium spirits for groups, teams and celebrations. The new location also features a spacious outdoor patio.

LPE’s wide-ranging menu, from the Truffle Cheeseburger to the number-1 Ahi Tuna Poké Rice Bowl, and mains such as Steak & Fries, offers something for everyone. The new location also stands as the first to offer a unique selection of pizzas, such as the Pepperoni Supremo, which is a result of the LPE culinary team’s recent market-research trip to Italy.

Guests can also enjoy a selection of local craft beer, cocktails and wines. LPE Adelaide will bring its “wine without rules” motto to the table, featuring a party pitcher of wine called the Porron, Espresso Mar-tinys and options such as the pot of Cold Tea for a tipsy tea party. The Top Shelf mezzanine will feature a separate drink list, offering premium tequila, mezcal, bourbon and rye. The menu features original cocktails such as the Spicy Guava Margarita, Adelaide Sour and the Old Fashioned.

“There’s arguably no part of the city that embodies Toronto’s dynamic energy and bustling atmosphere more than the Financial District, and we believe that this concept will thrive here, delivering a new go-to spot for the neighbourhood, including residents, businesses and travellers,” says Ciara Ball, regional manager of LPE Adelaide. “We’ve worked tirelessly to create a space that’s the perfect destination for lunch, dinner, happy hour, late nights and weekend brunch.”
