TORONTO — The 5700 Inc., Lookout and MasterChef winner, Dino Luciano have teamed up to open Stella — Toronto’s first Italian-inspired vegan pop-up. Luciano will be serving his innovative vegan fare at the Richmond Street West location from November 1 until January 31.
A Brooklyn native who learned to cook at a young age from his Sicilian grandmother, chef Luciano is eager to provide Torontonians with a style of cuisine he feels isn’t readily available in the city. Stella’s all-vegan menu boasts handcrafted, worldly dishes, such as Bohemian Squash Fettuccine, Cherry Risotto and cannoli.
“Stella is an Italian-inspired restaurant with a refined palate,” says Luciano. “We’re re-conceptualizing traditional Italian food and making it vegan — all without the sacrifice of impressionable flavour.”
Stella will provide an intimate dining experience that can accommodate seating for up to 36 guests.
