NEW YORK — McDonald’s U.S. is offering Fish McBites as a new entrée in its Happy Meals.

The company is planning to offer the new Happy Meal entrée to coincide with Lent and will include seven Fish McBites of wild-caught Alaskan Pollock with kid-sized fries, apple slices and a choice of fat-free chocolate milk, low-fat white milk or apple juice.

Last month, the chain announced the Fish McBites would be sold on the standard menu in three sizes — snack (10 pieces), regular (15 pieces) and shareable (30 pieces).
