NEW YORK — McDonald’s U.S. is offering Fish McBites as a new entrée in its Happy Meals.
The company is planning to offer the new Happy Meal entrée to coincide with Lent and will include seven Fish McBites of wild-caught Alaskan Pollock with kid-sized fries, apple slices and a choice of fat-free chocolate milk, low-fat white milk or apple juice.
Last month, the chain announced the Fish McBites would be sold on the standard menu in three sizes — snack (10 pieces), regular (15 pieces) and shareable (30 pieces).
Last month, McDonald’s U.S. announced it will become the first national restaurant chain to join with the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) to offer certified-sustainable fish.
