TORONTO — Molson Coors has announced that one of its most popular premium brands will soon be available in Canada, albeit under a slightly different name.
Blue Moon, a Belgian-style wheat ale crafted using Valencia orange peel and coriander, will be known as Belgian Moon when it makes its debut in Canada Aug. 15.
“Introducing this iconic brand to Canada is a significant milestone for both Molson Coors, and our drinkers, whose tastebuds continue to evolve,” said Will Meijer, general manager of Molson Coors’ Six Pints specialty beer company. “With Belgian Moon, we are fulfilling one of our ongoing promises: to excite our drinkers with relevant, flavourful products.”
Belgian Moon will be available on draught at select restaurants and bars across the country, with a retail roll-out scheduled to follow next January.
