TORONTO — MTY Food Group Inc. is donating $10,000 to North York Harvest Food (NYHF), the primary food bank for northern Toronto.
MTY staff also spent four days at the food sorting facility of NYHF during the months of May and June to help sort and pack food donations. Team members helped pack thousands of pounds of food alongside NYHF volunteers, all while enjoying a corporate team building activity.
NYHF is an independent, charitable organization which distributes over two million pounds of food every year through 77 neighborhood programs.
