TORONTO — Chefs Plate, a Canadian meal-kit service, has revealed that most Canadians are searching for Chinese cuisine, followed by Thai, Indian and Korean cuisines, according to its analysis of Google Search data.
The popularity of Chinese cuisine has been rising over the past decade, but in the last five years has nearly consistently topped online searches for international cuisines.
In celebration of Chinese New Year at the beginning of the month, Chefs Plate shared its most popular Chinese dishes, including Lunar New Year Chicken & Shrimp Chow Mein with chili-garlic oil, Chinese Pork & Cabbage Stir Fry with sticky hoisin sauce and Chinese Black Pepper Pork with jasmine rice and bok choy.
