HARBOUR GRACE, Nfld. — YellowBelly Brewery has purchased the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Harbour Grace, Nfld.

The brand’s owners Craig Flynn and Brenda O’Reilly — who also own O’Reilly’s Irish Pub in St. John’s — plan to turn the church into a beer garden, taphouse and brewery by 2020, with a hotel and spa to follow later.

YellowBelly currently boasts a five-floor brewery and public house in St. John’s, as well as location at St. John’s International Airport.
