TORONTO — The Ballroom Bowl Yorkville has opened at Yonge and Bloor streets in Toronto, boasting eight bowling lanes, including two VIP lanes, alongside dining, bar and lounge areas with a curated cocktail and food menu. The venue’s flagship location in Toronto’s Entertainment District opened in 2010.

Dishes from the food menu include house-roasted artichoke and white bean hummus and shortrib mac-n-cheese. The drink menu features a range of wines, beers and signature cocktails including Smoke & Mirrors, Strawberry Hibiscus Cooler and Mexpresso Martini.

Designed by Hamilton-based mcCallumSather, the venue’s ground floor lobby includes a wood feature ceiling with integrated lighting and a city collage wall graphic. The lounge area offers an open-kitchen view and the bar features concealed TVs with walnut and brass detailing and sits beside the dining area with both booth and table seating.

“Choosing Yorkville as our first expansion location is a natural evolution for us. It’s a neighbourhood synonymous with sophistication and style,” says owner Paul Donato. “Bowling will always be at the foundation of what The Ballroom Bowl is, but each location is unique and reflects the preferences and nuances of the local community. The Yorkville location is elegant, it has a beautiful bar and restaurant with high-end details and finishes, a natural evolution from the original in the Entertainment District.”
