TORONTO — Toronto’s superfood café brand nutbar has entered into the consumer-packaged goods market with barmilk, a clean and nutritious nut milk formulated without any gums, fillers or preservatives. The barmilk is 100 per cent organic, handcrafted in small batches and is the same premium quality nut milk used in their cafés.

The first of its kind, barmilk is made from only five ingredients, including cashews, almonds, coconut, maple syrup and sea salt. It’s frozen immediately after production to capture all the vital nutrients and flavours in their peak.

“We’re revolutionizing the nut milk industry by bringing our high-quality nutrition and taste standards to the at-home plant-based milk market,” says Kate Taylor Martin, founder and CEO, nutbar. “I’m thrilled to finally offer Torontonians a truly nutritious, flavourful and luxurious nut milk so they can enjoy healthier, more elevated beverages at home. Our customers are always so surprised when they find out what’s actually inside the majority of nut milks currently sold on store shelves. Not only are they made with additives they also contain only two per cent of nuts, whereas barmilk is made with 30 per cent of nuts and is free of any gums, fillers or preservatives. We’ve taken four years to perfect our clean, nutritious nut milk product for at-home, and I’m so excited to finally have barmilk hit shelves.”
