TORONTO — Authentic, modern-day Italian restaurant Oretta, located in Toronto’s King West neighbourhood, will be kicking off National Pizza Month by offering guests a free signature Margherita Pizzette on Tuesday, Oct. 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“As a true Southern Italian, I’ve perfected my pizza skills in Sicily and am happy to bring these traditional techniques to Oretta Restaurant and Caffé and the people of Toronto,”says Gabriele Di Marco, executive chef of Oretta. “We pride ourselves in offering authentic Italian cuisine, from the creation of our doughs, sauces, pastas to desserts, all using fresh ingredients inspired by the different regions of Italy.”
Since opening its doors in 2017, Oretta and Oretta Caffé has offered a contemporary take on the traditional flavours of Italian cuisine.
