FREDERICTON — Picaroons Traditional Ales recently announced plans to open a new taproom and café. The Roundhouse will be located at the brand’s current production brewery at 912 Union Street in Fredericton.
The new spot will offer local fare, a Picaroons taproom and a retail shop. Its menu is comprised of light on-the-go options, such as hearty soups, fresh salads, gourmet sandwiches, Whitney-branded coffee and espresso, ready-made meals, and snacks. Picaroons and other Maritime produced ingredients will feature prominently among the café’s specialty items.
The Roundhouse café will also double as a tasting room where customers can enjoy full-size pints from a large selection of Picaroons beers in addition to New Brunswick craft beers, ciders and meads.
The Roundhouse is set to open later this month.
