Opened August 1, Kinja isn’t your ordinary Asian-fusion restaurant. The Moncton, N.B. eatery serves Western-style breakfasts and features sushi served on conveyor belts. It also serves Kinja-fusion dishes such as the bulgogi burger and spicy-pork burger, as well as Japanese sakes, wine and beer.

The restaurant has emulated the kaiten-sushi concept, which has become popular in Japan and other Asian countries. A sushi train allows customers to grab plates from a conveyor that’s colour-coded to let you know the price of the dish.

Offering affordable food, Kinja also has higher-priced specialty items such as Korean barbecue, kobe beef and prime rib. Another bonus? The operators use salmon, scallops, lobster, snow crab and Bluefin tuna from Atlantic Canada.
