MELVILLE, N.Y. — The pizza restaurant chain Sbarro filed for bankruptcy protection today.
The popular Melville, N.Y.-based pizza chain announced last month that it will close 40 per cent of its U.S. locations. According to Reuters, the chain has between $100 million and $500 million in both assets and liabilities.
This is the company’s second bankruptcy filing in the last three years.
