MONTREAL — The Salon International de l’sAlimentation (SIAL Canada), an international and pan-Canadian Food Industry show, officially began today at the Palais des congrès de Montreal.
The 9th edition event will feature 676 exhibitors from 45 countries and will include five show features, including a trends and innovations showcase; an Olive d’or competition that celebrates quality in olive oils; Coffee Cup by SIAL, an international coffee contest; La Cuisine by SIAL, a contest between corporate chefs and Pack Concept by SET, an event dedicated to the food-packaging sector.
SIAL Canada is part of the international SIAL network, which is comprised of five shows on four continents (France, Canada, Argentina, China, United Arab Emirates), with a total of 7,500 exhibitors and 220,000 visitors from more than 200 countries.
The show runs until Friday, May 11.
