Sprouters Northwest Deli Sprouts Recalled

OTTAWA — The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Wal-Mart Canada Corp. are warning consumers in B.C., Alberta and Saskatchewan to avoid Sprouters Northwest brand Deli Sprouts due to possible salmonella contamination.

The products that should be avoided have item numbers 9494532 and 9477578 and were sold up until Jan. 3. Wal-Mart has voluntarily recalled the products, and no illnesses have been reported in Canada so far.
